Clara Axam, CEO and President
Clara Hayley Axam is a magna cum laude graduate of Duke University and holds a law degree from the University of Michigan. Ms. Axam is an experienced manager, skilled facilitator and certified mediator. Over the course of her career, she has applied her legal, management, and facilitation skills to change initiatives in a number of environments across public, private, philanthropic and community sectors.
William McFarland, Senior Associate
William McFarland holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a Master of City Planning from Georgia Institute of Technology. He has extensive experience in facilitating public involvement and stakeholder engagement, collaboration and consensus building, strategic planning, project management and implementing comprehensive community revitalization initiatives in the non-profit sector. William has been involved in community development in Atlanta for the past twenty years.
Jilo Tisdale, Part-Time Senior Associate and Project Manager
Jilo Tisdale holds a BA in Comparative Literature from Northwestern University, and a Masters in Education from The University of Michigan. Jilo is an experienced educator with a unique background combining nonprofit, project management and research expertise. She is adept at taking projects from concept through implementation.

Pyper Johnson Brooks is the President / CEO of Yortech Solutions, Inc., an information technology consulting firm helping clients identify the right fit to mission solutions to support their business needs. They have successfully designed and deployed business strategies that bring customers extensible technologies that impact the bottom line. Yortech offers expertise in program management, software assessment, implementation, development and integration, enterprise analytics and contractor management.

Cinque Mark Axam is a graduate of Duke University and North Carolina Central University School of Law. He is an accomplished facilitator and trainer, having facilitated strategic planning sessions for non-profit organizations and trained employees of corporations engaged in major enterprise systems and software transformation initiatives.
Janice Williams, Affiliate
Janice Williams holds a B.A. in Psychology and Math from Duke University and an Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina. During her 25 years as a C&M facilitator she has mastered the art of creating safe environments for client/participant engagements and facilitations. She has applied her credentials and experience in human relations training and management to extensive work in the areas of crisis intervention counseling, mediation/conflict resolution, diversity management, team building and effective interpersonal communication.
Syrena Williams, Affiliate
Syrena Williams holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, a Master of Business Administration and a Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University. She brings more than ten years of employee relations experience to the C&M team when clients are in need of human and business development services. Ms. Williams’ combination of business experience and legal expertise supports the seamless development and implementation of strategies and techniques to advance a company’s mission and shareholders’ interests.
